A little about me

I’m TOM

I was born and raised in New York, a first generation Polish American. My parents always instilled a strong focus on my culture and reinforced the importance of family. My dad is the person responsible for my photography, he's the one who put a camera in my hand.

nature & travel

I love nature and being out in the world. My youth was spent hiking, camping, and going on road trips, being in nature is where I feel the most myself. While on hikes there's a sense of peace that always comes over me. It's like a complete mind and body reset that I think we can all use in today's world.

Photography

I have never treated photography as a job or a hobby. It has always been an outlet for me to express myself and bring my vision to life. I always try to emulate my love for nature in my work. You'll see that a lot of my travel photos are based around mountains and architecture.

Interesting Fact

As much as I would love for photography to be a full time gig, I am a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. If you've ever stepped foot in an ER, you know how important it is to have a therapeutic outlet and photography is mine.
